Community Services

Recycling & Bulk Pick Up
The City contracts with a private hauler for the collection of newspapers, mixed paper, corrugated cardboard, commingled cans, glass containers and plastic bottles. The recycling contractor also collects brush, branches, grass clippings, leaves and other yard trimmings.

During snow events, it is best to hold your recycling materials until your next regularly scheduled pick-up day. This will help ensure that roadways are clear for snow removal crews and will help prevent your bins from being damaged. If recycling services are canceled this will be noted on the website or follow them on Facebook and Twitter @GburgMD.
