Pool Hours:
June 29 - September 6: Daily, 10:00am - 9:00pm
September 7 (Labor Day): 10am - 6pm
 
September 8 - September 30 Extended Season Hours: 
Monday - Friday: 3-5pm and 6-8pm. (Cleaning break from 5-6pm.)
Saturday & Sunday: 10am to 9pm
 
Early morning lap swim ends Wednesday, September 2.
 
 
Snack Bar Hours:
The snack bar will be closed for the 2020 pool season. 
 

 
Beginning July 16 the pool will be available for 75 residents, per pool time, to enjoy open swim and lap swim.  Residents will be able to do one of three things: 1) Reserve pool time for Open Swim 2) Reserve pool time for lap swim or 3) Walk-in, if the any of the 25 walk-in slots are available as they are first come first serve. Do not call the Clubhouse for walk-in availability as this information will not be available as slots may fill from the time of the call to actual entry.
 
Please do not make reservations or walk-in if you have not received an Electronic Facilities Pass (EFP). To obtain an EFP, please call the Clubhouse at 301-948-2071 to schedule an appointment.  EFPs will not be provided at the time of the reservation or walk-in and you will not be permitted entrance to the pool. 
 
Residents are required to wear a face mask (except if in the pool), a signed KCA waiver (modified waivers WILL NOT be accepted) , a signed RSV Pools waiver and your electronic facilities pass. Without these you will not be permitted entrance
 
Be a good neighbor! If you are unable to attend please cancel your reservation to allow other residents use of the pool.
Note: Residents with reservations that have not checked in within 15 minutes of their reservation time will be considered a no show and the reservation will be canceled without notification. Residents may still be able to use the pool if there is walk-in availability.
 
 
Open Swim will allow up to 75 residents access to the pool. 50 will be reservation only with an additional 25 openings for first come first serve walk-in basis.
 
Below are the pool times for Open Swim:
 
 10am to 12 pm 
 1pm to 3pm 
 4pm to 6pm 
 7pm to 9pm
 
Reserved lap swim allows residents to reserve 1 of 3 lap lanes in the lap pool.  Please note only 1 person per lap lane is allowed and once the reservation is over the swimmer must exit the facility. 
 
 
Below are the pool times reserved Lap Swim:
 
10am to 11am    11am to 12pm 
1pm to 2pm  2pm to 3pm 
4pm to 5pm    5pm to 6pm 
7pm to 8pm     
 8pm to 9pm
 
 
Residents may sign up for a total of 6 reservations per session for both lap and open swim:
 
Please Note: Any reservations past 6 will be automatically deleted without notification. Residents may still be able to use the pool if there is walk-in availability.
 
Please note: The kiddie pool will remain closed and no guests including Lakeland reciprocation will be permitted at this time. There will be a limited amount of chairs available at the pool on a first come first serve basis so residents are encouraged to bring their own chairs.
 
 
KCA reminds all of our residents to practice social or physical distancing and stay at least 6 feet apart both in and out of the water, from people you don't live.  Face coverings are required when you are not in the water. For further information regarding pool operations during the active Covid-19 era please view our frequently asked questions document (FAQ).

Under the Age of Twelve (12) Pool Policy
No person under the age of twelve (12) shall be eligible to enter the Clubhouse building or to use the swimming pools unless accompanied by a person age sixteen (16) or older. 
 
Lap Pool Policy during KST Activities
The Lap Pool is available for non-Kingfish lap swimmers during Kingfish Swim Team practices.  For the full policy click here.
 
KCA Pool Use by Lakelands Residents
No guests are permitted at this time.  There will not be reciprocity during the 2020 pool season.
 
Lost & Found 
During Covid-19 restrictions we will not keep lost and found items.  All items left behind will be disposed.
All pool related items (i.e. towels, goggles, fold-up chairs) can be found at the pool lost and found located on the pool deck from 9:30 am to 9:00 pm. Lost items will be held for 60 days, after which time will be donated to a charitable organization.
